view of Ormesby from Sportsman's Staithe

Colour picture called 'Ormesby from Sportsman's Staithe', with two gents enjoying time in their boats amongst the reed and ducks.
There are several Ormesby's in the UK, but the word Staithe, from the Norse for landing stage, suggests that this is the former village in the North East England. Now part of Middlesbrough.

Photochrom #11244.
Picture Added on 04 November 2008.
