Unidentified Steamer with passengers

Colour picture of a steamer with plenty of passengers on board, just leaving a harbour behind. The hotel in the background reads South Western Hotel.
I know there is a South Western Hotel in Southampton and it would suit this picture fine (as the liner seems to be English). But being 600 miles away from it makes it difficult to compare :)

A mystery, so if you like to solve one.....
