Countess Weir

Lovely rural scenery, this is Countess Weir in Exeter, Devon, England. A Weir is a small overflow dam, used to help manage the water levels in a river or stream.
As far as I can find out this is now called Countess Wear and is a modern developed area of the city of Exeter (with some of the old buildings preserved).
