Børsen of Kopenhagen

Picture of the Børsen or Stock Exchange of Copenhagen at the end of the 19th century. It was built on the island Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen by Christian IV in 1619-1640. Designed by Hans van Steenwinckel in the style of the Dutch renaissance, now famous for the four tails of dragons twined together, the dragonspire.
It housed the stock exchange 'til 1974.
