George Square Glasgow

Glasgow's George Square at the end of the 19th century. Named after King George III this is the main square in Glasgow, finding its origins back in 1781 when it was part of the central grid plan.
The large building at the outer in the middle is Glasgow City Chambers.
A few statues dotted around the square too of (amongst others) Sir Walter Scott and Queen Victoria.
